My approach

My name is Tom and I live with my family in South Devon. My background is in education, where helping people understand complex ideas clearly is part of everyday work. Northline Design grew from the observation that many small businesses face a similar challenge online: they know their business inside out, but their website does not always communicate it clearly to customers. Outside work you'll usually find me with my family, on the coast, or inevitably, working on one of several side projects.
I build websites for small businesses that need to explain what they do, build trust quickly and make the next step obvious. The work is practical: clear page structure, polished design, responsive layouts and support that helps the site keep working after launch.
